Graduate Field Zoologist

Gina worked with Terrestrial Ecosystems senior staff between 2004 and 2017 (this included his time at ATA Environmental and Coffey Environments, prior to Terrestrial Ecosystems). She was employed as a graduate field zoologist and field assistant for fauna assessments and fauna surveys. Over this 13 year period Gina has been on multiple surveys across Western Australia. Gina’s role was to assist the team of zoologists and on limited occasions was given tasks which required him to work independently or with another field assistant.

Gina has a Certificate III in Vertebrate Pest Management and an interest in feral animal management. She is gaining experience in fauna surveys and with time will learn more about environmental consulting including project management, client management, budgeting and reporting. Gina is part way through his Masters in Biosecurity at Murdoch University and should finish in 2018.
